I bought this product to try as a finishing powder and one that I could use throughout the day to freshen up. It's light, so for those who need a little refresher, this is a good product. However, I use this as a base now with my mineral foundation. It actually worked out well. The color didn't suit me either, but since I use it as a base now, it doesn't matter too much. I just hate buying products online because I don't know what color they really are! I will say that it holds shine well and it stays put. I don't recommend this product for those looking for a heavier coverage or if you're trying to cover up splotches or redness. It's also not good for dry skin - it will highlight the dry flaky spots. I suggest exfoliating beforehand, or using a heavier moisturizer. It should be good for oily skin though. It is a good product to use if you're just needing a little "powder" through the day. I wouldn't pay this price again either - after shipping and tax, it came out to be [$], and for that price I can get a better one. I would buy it again if they sold it without charging me the shipping price and around $20 or less.

I just recently bought the photo finish powder, and I must say, it makes my skin look wonderful! To me, this is a dupe of MAC's Studio Fix powder (which I love!). However, in comparison to MAC, this feels much lighter and not at all heavy on my skin. The three downfalls to this product, that I can tell so far, are its price, size, and compact weight. The price turns out to be around $32 dollars with shipping and the product is only 10g--as such, when once again comparing to MAC, MAC's Studio Fix cost $27 dollars and it is a larger size (15g), thus, this makes MAC a better buy. Lastly, the compact is crazy heavy and large; I am not sure if I would want to carry this around in my purse. To me, they should decrease the price of the product and/or shipping. If they don't, then they should add more product to the compact. Overall, good buy, but I am not sure if I will repurchase--lets see how long this product will last in comparison to MAC (which one compact last about a year). After my first use of the Motives powder, I can already see some of the bottom. =(
